Sketch Your Space designs and executes across all five southern states — Tamil Nadu (38 districts), Karnataka (31), Telangana (33), Andhra Pradesh (26) and Kerala (14). That is 142 districts in total. Our studio and material library are in Teynampet, Chennai, with teams in Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Coimbatore and Hosur covering the surrounding regions.

Substantially, and this is the part most studios get wrong. Coastal Tamil Nadu, coastal Andhra and all of Kerala need SS-304 hardware and BWP marine-grade plywood throughout, because salt and humidity destroy ordinary specification within two or three seasons. Inland Telangana, western Tamil Nadu and north Karnataka are dry, so PU, lacquer and veneer perform excellently and more of the budget goes into visible quality. The Bengaluru plateau sits between the two. We specify for the site, not for a house style.

Design and material rates are identical across all five states. What changes is site supervision and logistics: for locations beyond roughly 150 km from one of our teams we add a mobilisation line covering travel and site accommodation for the execution crew. It appears as its own line item in the quote so you can see exactly what distance costs, rather than finding it folded into the material rate.

The process is identical — free site measurement, space plan, 3D views, line-item BOQ, then execution. What changes is rhythm. We concentrate site visits into fewer, longer trips instead of dropping in weekly, pre-fabricate carpentry at our own facility so on-site work is assembly rather than fabrication, and run a dated photo tracker so you can follow daily progress without us being physically present.

No. We execute with our own project teams rather than handing the site to a local subcontractor. The moment execution leaves our control the specification quietly leaves with it — marine ply becomes commercial ply, branded hardware becomes whatever the carpenter had, and nobody is accountable when something fails. Keeping execution in-house is what lets us hold the same specification in Kochi as in Adyar.
